Very impressive project by J.L. in Grade 10. Handle was carved by hand, whale tail profile was cut out on the bandsaw. Check out the before and after (after features a leather strap and a wood burning of J.L.’s home – Read Island).

Intro to Trades 9/10 students are working on their excellent Mock-up projects: here we have J.R. putting the finishing touches on her group’s window sill.

Nice work by L.F. in Grade 9! She chose the design for this unique board, and did the wood burning by hand.
Semester 2 kicks off with a few cutting skill-builders in Senior Jewelry, including this charming little guy by K.M. Bonus points if you can get it all cut out of 1 piece!

J.L. in Grade 12 re-cast these beautiful matching gold pendants from a family heirloom: one for herself, her sister, and her mom. A great example of how significant & timeless jewelry-making can be. Great work, and good luck on your welding ACE-IT program, J.L.!
