A few wood lathe projects from last Spring, made by some of our keener Grade 8 students! First photo is a foot massager made as an early Mother’s Day gift by S.B., and the stylish fish-bonker was made by C.H. for a Father’s Day present (wood-burning and design all done by hand). Great work, folks!
Perfect chess board by T.G. in Grade 12 (self-directed project). Black Walnut and Poplar woods were used for the board and pieces, and all pieces were hand-turned on the wood lathe. Great work, T.!

Beautiful self-directed project by K.H. in Wood 12. Base is Beech with Black Walnut trim, and Black Walnut table-top. Finished with Watco Natural Oil and wax. Great work: and check it out on display in the living room!
